Project Description

Hubei Hanshi Intercity Railway Co., Ltd. (HHIR) is undertaking the construction of a 395.1km intercity rail link with a designed speed of 350kmph between Wuhan and Shiyan via Xiangyang in Hubei, China.

The project involves the construction of 14 stations, platforms, bridges, tunnels, control rooms and parking facilities, the installation of equipment, elevators and security systems, and the laying of railway tracks.

In January 2015, China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (CRCBEB) appointed as a construction contractor.

In February 2015, Construction commenced.

Construction activities are underway.
